SEE THE STUNNING KAWASAN FALLS

For those who want to take the easier route to experience Kawasan falls can head straight to the falls’ main gateway located at Badian, then walk for a 1.5 km to the first tier, which has the basin and various houses. Although you can climb uphill further to reach the upcoming tiers of the falls, most visitors prefer to stop their travel here.

VIEW THE LIVELY AQUATIC BIODIVERSITY

The stunning Sumilon Island is undeniably one of the city’s most admired tourist destinations. The most notable feature of Sumilon Island is its beautiful sand bank, which changes its appearance with the seasons. The ocean surrounding the island is also stunning; the various blue shades and the water beauty will tempt you to dive right in. This beautiful island of size around 24 hectare is located near the leading Cebu Island’s southern point. Although it is held private by a hotel, it is accessible to the general folks for a small admission fee.

SPLENDOUR OF THE LEAH TEMPLE

Cebu’s Taj Mahal, the stunning Temple of Leah has become one of the city’s most well-known sights. This majestic structure is a breathtaking view and a popular activity in Cebu for capturing worthy photographs for social media.

OSLOB

Oslob is a small seaside town on Cebu’s mainland at the southern point. Because of whale shark expeditions, it has recently become a popular tourist attraction. The whale sharks are not the only cool thing they have to offer. The spectacular Tumalog Waterfalls and lovely Sumilon Sandbar are also found here. Heritage sites, coral reefs, underground caves, and even Spanish ruins are also present at Oslob.

WHAT TO EAT THERE

A culinary food experience is one of the most fascinating things to do in Cebu. It is, nevertheless, the birthplace of the famous Cebu lechon that is roasted pig, one of Filipino cuisine’s most recognizable dishes. SuTuKil is a mix of three Visayan terms, tuwa (broth), sugba (grill), and kilaw (raw seafood) is one of Cebu’s most well-known traditional food concepts.

In this gastronomic experience, guests can select any type of seafood and have it grilled, cooked in broth, or uncooked and cured in vinegar or other citrus juices.  Manna Sutukil Food restaurant (near the Mactan shrine) offers an authentic SuTuKil experience. It’s a two-story restaurant that not only serves fresh seafood but also has a beautiful view of the shrine. After seeing the Mactan Shrine, you can go to Manna Sutukil for some delicious seafood.

BEST TIME TO GO TO CEBU

If you want to enjoy water sports in Cebu, the best time to visit is from January to April. The weather is perfect during these months because there are fewer chances of rain, and it is not very humid. If you don’t mind crowds or want to get a good deal, the best time to visit Cebu is between July and October. These months are known as the off-season. It’s when rates are the lowest, and there are less tourists visiting Cebu’s most popular attractions.

Depending on where you are coming from, there are several options for getting to Cebu. You have the choice of travelling by sea or air if you are coming from faraway in the Philippines. The International Airport of Mactan-Cebu serves a variety of international flights for visitors from around the world. Before you book your flights, make sure to finalize your schedule.

The most hassle-free and convenient way to get to Cebu is via air. The International airport of Mactan-Cebu is the main entrance to Cebu. It is where you will arrive.  It is only around an hour’s drive away from Cebu City.

In cities and even small villages, there are many different types of hotels to choose from. As Cebu Province is a major tourist destination, inexpensive hotels in Cebu are plentiful. Similarly, there are plenty of mid-range and premium housing options also.
